Print measures 11” x 14”.
Greenville businessman and philanthropist, Fred Coppock [1878-1972], donated 20 acres in what is now the Greenville City park, to provide a place to memorialize the signing of the Treaty of Greenville. The Altar of Peace is located prominently at the top of what is commonly known as Memorial Hill. Adjacent to the Altar of Peace is the Masonic Temple building, that you see in this drawing, which was constructed in 1963. This hill has become a favorite snow sledding place for young and older alike.
